REAL STORIES. REAL CONVERSATIONS.

What’s your
Best Bud
story?

Share a cannabis wellness story,
a lesson learned, or a question.

Video, a written story, or just your voice. Your choice.

THE CONVERSATION STARTS WITH YOU
MY BEST BUD · THE PODCAST

Good conversations.
Real connections.

Come as you are.

MAKE IT YOUR OWN

Three ways to share.
One place to be heard.

Pick whichever feels most comfortable.
There’s no wrong format.

Recording
YOUR STORY, FACE TO FACE

Talk to the camera.

Use your phone to tell us what happened, in your own words. No polished script needed.

Writing
IN YOUR OWN WORDS

Write it down.

Send a few paragraphs or a list of things you wish you’d known. Honesty matters more than grammar.

Microphone
NO CAMERA NEEDED

Share Your Voice

Prefer to stay off camera? Record a voice memo with your story, a lesson learned, or a question.

NOT SURE WHERE TO START?

It doesn’t have to be polished. Just yours.

A first appointment, a lesson learned, or a question you’re still asking. Small stories matter, too.

Choose a prompt to start your story.

Recording setup
NO STUDIO REQUIRED

Your phone.
Your story.
That’s enough.

A LITTLE PREP GOES A LONG WAY

Before you hit record.

Recording video or audio? Clear sound matters most. For video, steady framing and good light help too.

01 Choose a quiet spot

Turn off background noise. Earbuds or headphones with a mic can help your voice come through clearly.

02 For video, check light and framing

Face a window or lamp and rest your phone on a stand or a stack of books.

03 Keep it natural and focused

Talk like you would to a friend. Two to five minutes is a good target. Pause and restart whenever you need.

YOU SET THE BOUNDARIES

Your story.
Your comfort level.

Share only what feels comfortable. You set how your story can be used when you submit it, and we don’t go beyond that.

You set how it’s used when you
submit — nothing goes beyond that.
01

Happy to be on camera?

Share your name and face. Using your full name is up to you.

02

Prefer a little more privacy?

Choose audio or writing, and tell us how you’d like to be identified.

03

Still figuring it out?

Take your time. Nothing is sent until you accept the release, so settle on what you’re comfortable with before you submit.

AFTER YOU SUBMIT

What happens next?

01

We review.

A real person reads, watches, or listens to every submission that comes in.

02

We answer, or we get in touch.

Asked us a question? We may answer it on the show. Open to a longer conversation? We’ll contact you to arrange one.

03

We share what you agreed to.

Stories, voice notes and videos may appear on the podcast, our website and blog, our social channels and YouTube, our newsletter, or selected partner channels — always within what your release allows.

PULL UP A CHAIR

Tell us your story.

Choose video, writing, or audio. Tell us what happened, and what you’re happy for us to do with it.

01 / 02ABOUT FIVE MINUTES · NO PRESSURE
A little about you.

Required fields are marked with an asterisk.

Your story stays yours.

Every submission is reviewed before publication.

LET’S CLEAR A FEW THINGS UP

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Do I need to be a patient to submit?

No. Anyone can submit — patients, caregivers, newcomers, people working in the industry, or anyone else with something worth sharing.

Will my submission definitely be published?

No. We review everything, and only some submissions are featured. The release you accept when you submit sets what we can use, so there’s no separate approval step before publishing.

Where might my story show up?

On our podcast, our website and blog, our social channels and YouTube, our newsletter, and selected partner channels. Your release sets exactly what we can use and where.
